The 4th of July is on a Monday this year, but that won't stop The Pier from celebrating Independence Day for our country! The festivities will include back-to-back bands in the Courtyard by the Bay with "soulRcoaster" (11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ), "Solid Core" (3:30-6:30 p.m. ) and "Shotgun Justice" (7:30-11:00 p.m. A special treat by the "Baby Grand in the Sand" will occur during the band breaks at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Inside The Pier we will feature the River City Banjo Band (1:00-2:00 p.m. ) Fritz, himself, from Fritzy Bros. One Man Circus (1:00-9:00 p.m. ), face painters (1:00-9:00 p.m. ), Power Skippers (2:00-5:00 p.m. ), "Tropical Tom" (3:00-5:00 p.m. and "George Washington" (1:00-4:00 p.m. ). ALL events and activities are FREE, except for the face painters, who will charge a nominal fee based on design and complexity
