Major Hole in Our Sun

hese holes tend to occur at solar maximums, and we are not meant to have the next maximum until 2012/2013. So either this is just unusual timing for a coronal hole, or the maximum has arrived far sooner than predicted. If it is the former, then hold on to your hats, a CME might be heading our way (the NOAA says there is a “slight chance for a C-class flare” in the next 3 days). Last time, in 2003, a coronal hole was followed five days later by a deadly earthquake in Algeria. If it is the later, then the biggest concern is that the USA has not upgraded their electrical system yet.
Here’s a NASA image of the hole – it looks worrisome, but apparantly is quite normal, as you can see from the second image which is from the 2003 hole.

Positions of North and South Poles

The earth magnetic north pole is is not affected by sun's harmful radiations because of Earth's gravitational pull. After about 750,000 or so the earth's north and south poles swap their positions. Currentley At present time these north and south poles of the earth are drifting away from each other at the speed of 20-30 kms in each year. During the swapping of poles the magnetic field will disappear for about 100 years leading to UV rays to enter the world. This will destroy everything. It is said that 2012 is the year for this which is also the year as per the End of World Predictions. The magnetic north pole has progressively moved offshore over the past few years. But swapping of poles cannot happen in a moment.

The average position of the North Magnetic Pole in 1994 was located on the Noice Peninsula, southwest Ellef Ringnes Island, at 78.3 degrees North, 104.0 minutes West. The yearly motion of the pole has increased, and is now 15 kilometers per year.

The "Mayan End of Times Prophecy"

Many people believe that the world is going to end on December 21st, 2012. Did you know, that according to the culture of ancient Maya, part of what scholars call Mesmeric, astronomy predicts some major cosmic developments for December 21, 2012, including, the end of the world as we now know it. Some people believe this is really going to happen. The Mayan calendars are still used by a few cultures in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador and are said to be the most accurate ones in existence. They date the solar year accurately within minutes, taking account of the cycles of sun, moon, Venus, and other cosmic bodies and only have to add one "leap day" after 380,000 years. Mayan civilisation was quite advanced, possessing technology that modern man is still trying to comprehend.

Next Solar Cycle by 2010-2012 will be the most intense in 50 years!

Our sun has been going through reoccurring cycles for the last atleast eleven years. They say that theere will be an upswing in sunspot activity leading to another solar maximum in 2010 to 2012. The annular solar eclipse is not a total eclipse of the sun. What occurs is that the center of the sun will be blocked out by the shadow of the moon. On January 15th 2010, the first solar eclipse of the year.

Below is a chart of solar eclipses for the next two years:

2010 -January 15 - Annular - Africa, India, Myanmar, China

2010 -July 11 - Total - South Pacific, Easter Island, Chile, Argentina

2011 - January 4 - Partial - Europe, Africa, Asia

2011 - June 1 - Partial - Eastern Asia, Iceland

2011 - July 1 - Partial - Antarctica, South Africa, New Zealand
